St. Irene Catholic Community of Faith

Your CCW offers you the opportunity to be with other women who share your same general interests, to make new friends, to use your special skills and talents and to be of service to your church and community while having fun with other Christian women. This provides us the opportunity to develop prayer skills and an enhanced spiritual life.

We have helped earn money for Saint Irene Parish, the Food Pantry and Birthright. Our meetings have had some wonderful speakers and programs. The Elizabeth Ministry is a part of the CCW and has become a great support for mothers and mothers to be. We help with assisting at baptisms and weddings and many are involved as Eucharistic Ministers or as Lectors. The Legislative Commission has kept us informed of opinions on various issues that affect all of our lives and those of the future generations. We can do great things in the name of Christ to make a difference in this world. Together we can help do Christ’s work.

Please consider becoming an active member during our membership drive. New ideas and talents are needed to keep up the work started and to all to the programs that can benefit our church family and our community

CCW CALENDAR EVENTS FOR 2008

General Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of each month excluding December, June through August, in the Parish Office starting at 7:00 pm.

We have at least one speaker once a year for a thoughtful and empowering evening
