What is the R.C.I.A.?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults—it is the way the Catholic Church welcomes new members.

Who is it for?

Primarily this Rite is for unbaptized adults and children of school age, however, it has been adapted for those adults and children baptized in other Christian denominations who seek membership in the Catholic Church.

What about baptized Catholics who have not received the Sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist? Adults seeking these Sacraments will be evaluated on an individual basis.
