Celebrating 100 Years
In 1927, a group of Catholic faithful from Sts. Peter and Paul in Naperville began a mission church in Warrenville, Illinois. From our first Mass, said in the Warrenville Schoolhouse in 1927, St. Irene has nurtured the light of Christ in its parishioners and brought the spirit of Jesus to the entire community. Celebrate your family's role in building a thriving faith community by participating in our personalized brick fundraiser. These laser-cut bricks will be installed in a centennial garden as an inviting space for our community and parish.

St. Irene will hosts an ecumenical concert, bringing Warrenville's voices of worship together for an unforgettable night of praise and fellowship. Pot luck supper to follow.

Time to party like it's 1927! Celebrate 100 years of faith, fellowship and family at our anniversary Gala, to be held at Abbington Banquets in Glen Ellyn. Ticket sales open soon -- save the date!

Our centennial year is a great opportunity to look back at our story -- and the stories of our parishioners. We'll be collecting photos, memorabilia, and personal stories of our parish through the words of our members. Stay tuned for details!
